LANCO has set up 10 MW wind power generation unit at Tirunnelveli in Tamil Nadu. This project has long-term PPA with the state of Tamilnadu and supplies power to the state grid.  

LANCO proposes to register the wind projects as CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) projects with UNFCCC during the second quarter of the year 2007-08. LANCO is also planning to develop about 250 MW of wind power generation projects in the near future.
