LANCO has set up 3 MW wind power generation unit at Chitradurga in Karnataka. This project has long-term PPA with the State of Karnataka and supplies power to the state grid.  

LANCO has registered the wind projects as CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) projects with UNFCCC during the second quarter of the year 2007-08.
