Lanco Foundation for the last decade has been deeply involved in the promotion of the traditional art of Kondapalli toy making where the artisans make beautiful toys from wood that come to life with bright colors. Foundation is supporting to protect and promote the traditional art and also helping in creating a provision for improved livelihoods for more than 140 families involved. Assistance is also provided in terms of revolving fund, training, marketing and strengthening MACs society. This is the first handicraft in Andhra Pradesh to get the GI certification from GoI.
